We provide a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for all original equipment and aftermarket products, as specified below.

 

Subsequent Ownership: Subsequent owners (second or later) are entitled to a 3-year warranty from the date of manufacture on the frame, fork and mast system. This does not extend to any third party products provided by other manufacturers.

All Vélos Holocene frame sets (frame, forks, mast system), hangers, through axles, and other hardware designed and manufactured by Velos are covered under our worldwide lifetime warranty program.

 

Your warranty period begins from the time of manufacture.

 

Vélos New Zealand warrants that your frame, fork, mast system, and frame hardware supplied are free from defects.

 

This lifetime warranty applies only to the original purchaser and may not be assigned.

 

This warranty only applies to Velos products purchased from our website or directly from our manufacturing and service centres.

 

This warranty commences from the date of manufacture, is offered only to the original purchaser, and is not transferable

 

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: 

 

Normal wear and tear

Improper assembly

Improper follow-up maintenance

Installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally specified, intended for, or compatible with the bicycle as sold

Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect

Labour charges for part replacement or changeover

Bikes used for commercial activities, including those in rental, demo, or security fleets

This warranty applies to all Vélos manufactured products only. Any other original part or component shall be covered by the stated warranty of the original manufacturer. Any products not specifically included above are hereby omitted.

 

This warranty is void in its entirety by any modification of the frame, fork, or components, including structural composite repair, paint repair, and paint refinishing by any party other than Vélos New Zealand Limited. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective item, and said repair or replacement is the sole remedy of the warranty. This warranty extends from the date of manufacture, is offered only to the original purchaser, and is not transferable.

 

Vélos New Zealand Limited is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages. Any claim against this warranty must be made directly through Vélos New Zealand Limited. Proof of purchase is required. Claims made outside the country of purchase may be subject to fees and additional restrictions. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and those rights may vary from place to place. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights. The English version of the warranty shall prevail
